The department of radiology is offering a wide variety of diagnostic and image-guided therapeutic services. In addition, is active in teaching, research and
dissemination of knowledge. These activities are taking place from its major service delivery points (Muhammadu Sanusi Diagnostic Center, Accident and emergency unit, Old Radiology Block, special care baby unit, main theatre, Abdullahi Bayero Diagnostic Centre, VAMED and ultrasound blocks) and occasionally, by the bedside of the patients. Additional satellite services are being offered in the department at Kumbotso Comprehensive Health Center and at the Federal Medical Centers Gusau and Rasheed Shekoni Specialist Hospital.
